Welcome!

Since its beginning in 1946, Tarrytown United Methodist Church has been an important part of this community.

Even though we are a large church whose membership lives throughout Austin, we still maintain the friendliness and family atmosphere of a neighborhood church.

Through our ministry to both the membership and the community beyond, Tarrytown has been a church that has grown both in size and in spirit. The membership has taken seriously the vows to support it through prayer, presence, gift and service.

Through our participation in the connectional system of the United Methodist Church, our ministry spreads around the world.

Mission Trip to McCurdy School June 8 - 13, 2008
Tarrytown is planning its eighth mission trip to the beautiful Espanola Valley in New Mexico, site of McCurdy School. Work assignments will range from indoor cleaning and organizing to heavy labor on the sunny New Mexico campus. For information or to reserve your place on the team, contact the church office.

Church Membership
If you want to know more about this church or explore church membership, you may pick up information at the Welcome Center on the front porch or indicate your interest on the attendance registration form. The Welcome Center is located just outside the narthex during inclement weather.

Repair for the Future Campaign
